The two Umars guide Pakistan to unlikely victory

Pakistan cricketers Umar Akmal (right) and Saeed Ajmal celebrate the team’s victory during the Twenty20 Cricket World Cup’s Super Eight match against South Africa. Pakistan survived a middle-order collapse to beat South Africa by two wickets.

After restricting South Africa to a modest total of 133-6, Pakistan s top order struggled and was reduced to 7-76 in 14.3 overs by the Protease.
But Umar Akmal and Umar Gul put the team on the track and when it looked that South Africa is nearing victory, the duo, especially Gul smashed some brilliant shots to eventually claim maximum points for the team.
Gul scored 32 runs off 17 balls, laced with three sixes and two boundaries, and he had also taken a wicket earlier, to be declared  Man of the Match . Meanwhile, Akmal also played a key role in the match with his unbeaten 43 off 41 balls.
